More wins for Shanklin at Woolston!
A week on from Swanage regatta there polarity in the weather but certainly not the results - as Shanklin Sandown Rowing Club came away from a wet and windy Woolston with three wins and a second place in the aggregate standings. Successful day in the Swanage sun!
Calm waters and wall to wall sunshine was the backdrop for a successful day for Shanklin Sandown Rowing Club at the fifth Hants and Dorset regatta of the season, Swanage. The club had two fours, two pairs and seven single sculler entered on the day. The club would feature in the first three races of the day. All IOW final headlines Shanklin results at Christchurch
The fours only Christchurch regatta was the fourth regatta of the Hants and Dorset season for Shanklin - and the club headed to the two lane dorset based regatta with high hopes for its two entries. The regatta is unique on the Hants and Dorset circuit, as it works in a head to head knockout format on the bending course set up on the River Stour.
