With over 167 clubs taking part from around the country competition at the British

Junior and Senior Championships was always going to be tough. With only the top 36

progressing to a final some of our athletes were disappointed but nevertheless gave it

their all. Several managed to make the F Finals and there were excellent personal best

times recorded by many. In the Open J15 single scull, Digby qualified for the D final and

came 24th overall in the category. Anna and Esme came 4th in the B final, 10th overall

in the Women's Pairs , Josh was 1st in the B final of the Open J14 scull, 7th overall.

Building on her success a few weeks before Connie won both her time trial and semi

final and then, in a nail biting finish took gold in the Women's J15 scull.

She broke the record for the fastest time in this event.

A great set of results and performances, congratulations to all competitors, and thank you

to parents, supporters, coaches, and the club for making participation possible at such a

high profile event.
