South Coast Championships at Plymouth.

What a great time Shanklin had at the South Coast Championships Regatta! For the first time the Junior and Senior regattas were held over two days owing to a relatively small window with enough water for racing at Plymouth.

Weather conditions forced the organisers to race all fours in Coastal boats on the second day. A large squad of Junior rowers went to the West Country and once again brought

back the Aggregate Trophy! Our two newly promoted to Junior from Novice crews both raced competently on the second day of the Championships, and show promise for next year. Thank you to the organisers at Plymouth Rowing club and the South Coast committee for hosting a great Championships.
